This is a local history book that the author approached me to help him self-publish. The quality of images was very patchy (a natural issue with historical archives!) and I spent quite a bit of time on image repair and touch ups. The author had a very clear idea of the look and feel he wanted and we worked together to bring that idea to fruition. I believe we are both very happy with the result.

I also produced a flyer and launch invitation once the book was printed.

A few years later, Dave approached me to design his second book. The brief for this was similar to The Majestic, but less coffee table, more handy guidebook to take on a walk around St Kilda.

Lots of source photos combined with beautiful images taken by Dimitri Bonatakis make this a stunning book about St Kilda.
